Bowhunters can warm up for the archery season at a free 3D shoot in La Pine on Saturday, Aug. 2 at Three Rivers Archers Park located at the intersection of Coach Rd. and Memorial Lane.

This unique course offers hunting scenarios and learning opportunities to help you prepare for the upcoming archery season. Experienced and accomplished bowhunters will be on site to help you through the scenarios and provide advice on setups and hunting strategies. A sight-in range with targets from 20 to 80 yards is available before you hit the 3D trail.‌

The range is open from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the event, and you can shoot the course at your own pace. No prior registration is needed.

For more information or to find other workshops, check the MyODFW website. ODFW thanks the Three Rivers Archers Club and Oregon Partners in Conservation for making this bowhunter warm-up event free to the public.
