
Road construction continues in Bend. Here’s the Weekly Road and Traffic Report for the Week of November 24 – 30, 2025:
- NW Bond Street between NW Wall Street and NW Greenwood Avenue for work related to the Deschutes County Courthouse, single lane closure with flagging, November 24, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Magnolia Lane between Hearthstone Lane and Ferguson Road will have infrastructure improvements, full road closure with local access only, October 6 – December 19.
- Butler Market Corridor Improvements – This project includes the design and construction of a new single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Butler Market Road and Wells Acres Road, along with pedestrian and bicycle improvements on Butler Market Road between Boyd Acres Road and Brinson Boulevard. Construction is anticipated to begin on September 22 and continue through late fall 2026.
- Butler Market Road, between NE Brinson Boulevard and NE 8th Street, will experience a westbound lane closure with a detour in place.
- Franklin Avenue between NE 4th Street and NE 8th Street for corridor improvements. Westbound lane closure with detour, week of November 3 – December 2025.
- Olney Pedestrian & Bicycle Improvements –This project is installing critical water & sewer pipe upgrades as well as transportation safety improvements along Olney Avenue. For more information. - Olney Avenue (east of NW Wall Street to NE Second Street) will remain closed through Fall 2025.
- NW Harriman Street between NW Kearney Avenue and NW Greenwood Avenue for infrastructure work associated with the Deschutes County Courthouse, full road closure, began July 24, 2024.

The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.

All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way – Northwest 10th Street (Terrebonne)
In Town:
C Street will be closed until December 1st. Please use an alternate route.
11th Street will be closed between Smith Rock Way and C Street while crews install sewer line laterals, sidewalks, water lines, and storm sewer. Traffic should use the signed detour.
U.S. 97:
The Lower Bridge Way/ U.S. 97 intersection has partially re-opened to right in/ right out traffic only. U.S. 97 southbound travelers turning right to access Lower Bridge Way and travelers coming from Lower Bridge Way making a right turn onto U.S. 97 south are permitted. Travelers will not be able to take a left from Lower Bridge Way onto U.S. 97 to go north, or from northbound U.S. 97 to Lower Bridge Way. Please use signed detours.

Redmond/ Prineville ADA Ramps
REDMOND: Crews will be performing single lane closures on Highland Avenue between 15th Street and 5th Street to construct new ADA ramps. Additional single lane closures will take place between 27th and 15th on OR 126 to construct new ADA ramps and enhance signal operations. Travelers and nearby residents should expect construction related noise and minimal delays Sunday – Wednesday during the hours of 11 p.m. and 9 a.m.

GILLIAM, SHERMAN & WASCO COUNTIES
I-84 / U.S. 197: The Dalles, Rufus & Arlington Bridges
THE DALLES: No work expected this week.
RUFUS: No work expected this week.
ARLINGTON: I-84 is reduced to a single lane in both directions during all hours between mile point 137 and 139. A work zone speed reduction is in place at 55 miles per hour.
