Teen Connects offers stand-alone service projects and fun outings for youth ages 12 through 17 and who are looking for awesome volunteer experiences. We are excited for any teen to join us to make a difference and make friends!
Camp Fire has regular teen programs/events through our Teen Connects program, BUT we are holding a unique event on Friday, Feb. 20 – a listening session for ALL Central Oregon teens. We’re offering every teen who shows up a $25 gift card to share their ideas, opinions, etc. around creating a community service and social club for ages 12-17 and provide a chance to shape Camp Fire’s teen programs. We’d love any help sharing this news if possible! Here are the deets:

Money talks, and your opinions matter! Come join Camp Fire for a listening session, share your voice about the future of our teen programs, and get a $25 gift card donated by Camp Fire National! This meeting is an opportunity to talk about creating a low-pressure way for teens to meet, talk, and dream big. Come connect with others who care about building community and friendship, volunteering, and learning about career opportunities. The goal of this meeting is to help design a club that actually reflects what teens want. Register at campfireco.org/teenconnects!
We also offer more long-term service opportunities for teens to get involved and practice leadership, like our Teens in Action clubs or Youth Advisory Committee. We also encourage teens to apply to serve as a member of our board of directors. These programs are currently offered in Bend, however, plans for teen programs in South County are in the works, so please check back soon on this expansion news!
