The Sunriver Oktoberfest Race is back for 2026, bringing a festive mix of running, community, and celebration to Central Oregon on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Featuring a 10K and 5K, this spirited event once again serves as the official kickoff to Oktoberfest weekend in Sunriver.
Hosted in the scenic Sunriver community, the race begins at 11 a.m. and invites participants of all levels—from seasoned runners chasing a PR to families and friends looking for a fun, active start to the day. The course itself is a serene and beautiful route, winding through towering pines and tree-lined paths, with that signature crisp fall air that makes it feel like the perfect day for a run.
Race perks include:
- Free admission to Sunriver Village Oktoberfest festivities following the race
- $5 off entry to the SHARC Oktoberfest celebration (5K and 10K participants)
- A commemorative race bib and finisher medal
