Driver Flown To Hospital After Cement Truck Crash

La Pine, Ore. – The La Pine Fire District responded at 05:13 am today to a cement truck that had rolled several times on a remote portion of Highway 31 milepost 16 near the Lake and Klamath County lines injuring the driver.

Outback Fire District of Klamath County was first on scene and assistance was provided by La Pine Fire District and an Ambulance by Sunriver Fire. The driver was injured and trapped in the vehicle, stabilized and flown from the scene by Air Link helicopter to St Charles – Bend.

The highway was closed for about an hour and a half.
