Bend Man Missing Since Friday, Bike Found Near Irrigation Canal Sunday

Bend, Ore. – The Bend Police Department is asking for the public’s help in a missing person case. Police say 57 year old Bernard Paul Crisman of Bend was last seen on Friday around 3 p.m. He comes and goes from an adult foster care home on NE Wells Acre Road in Bend.

Crisman is an insulin dependent Diabetic and he left his residence without his medication and with little money. It is out of the ordinary that Crisman has not returned to his residence or checked in by phone.

He often rides a black and blue Mongoose Mountain Bike, which was later located on Sunday along the Central Oregon Irrigation Canal to the East of NE Boyd Acres Rd.

Crisman is known to frequent this area and associates with transient camps in the area. Crisman was last seen wearing a green shirt that says “Alaska” on the front of it. Crisman likes to frequent the Northside Tavern and Mavericks in Bend.
