La Pine, Ore. – The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office says the public is not in any danger following a fatal stabbing in La Pine.
Around 4:30 yesterday afternoon deputies from the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Oregon State Police and La Pine Fire Department responded to an address on Dustan Road in La Pine for a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival to the scene deputies and paramedics began life saving efforts on a male subject with a stab wound.
The man died from his injuries.
“This investigation is still on going and there is no danger to the community.”
The Sheriff’s office also says any further information, to include identities of those involved will be released at a later time.
