Oregon State Police Arrest Man In Rest Area Homicide

Portland, Ore. – OSP Major Crimes Detectives have arrested 37 year old Timothy Stepina of Albany on a murder charge.

The victim killed last night has been identified as 55 year old Timothy Scott Way of Beavercreek.

It happened last night at the French Prairie Rest Area, previously known as the Baldock Rest area. It reopened this morning.

OSP is continuing this investigation and is being assisted by Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon City Police Department, and Milwaukie Police Department.
