Is Patriots’ Dont’a Hightower on the Injured List?

Mike Stone/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — It looks like the New England Patriots could be down another player.

Even before tight end Rob Gronkowski was carried off the field with a knee injury during Sunday’s losing game against the Denver Broncos, a knee injury also threatended to bench Dont’a Hightower for a few weeks, NFL Media reports.

According to the report, the linebacker has apparently sprained his MCL.

Though the knee injury is not likely to end the season for Hightower, it will keep the player off the field for several weeks while he recovers.
