CORVALLIS, OR — One lane of Highway 20 near Eddyville was closed for several hours Tuesday after a semi-truck and trailer overturned. Around 8:30 a.m., John Grigsby, 49, Newport, was eastbound on Highway 23 when he failed to negotiate a curve. The big rig left the roadway and rolled onto its side.
Emergency crews extricated Grigsby and rushed him to a local hospital for minor injuries. It took ODOT crews much of Tuesday to clean up the spill and clear the cite. The cause of Tuesday’s crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
