Oregon State Police Recruits Graduate

OSP_recruit_trooper_gradsSALEM, OR — Twelve Oregon State Police recruits graduated today along with 22 recruit officers from other law enforcement agencies from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training 16-week Basic Police Training program. 

OSP Recruit Kyson Culp received the graduating class’s highest honor, the Victor G. Atiyeh Award. 

The award is presented to the outstanding student of each basic class as selected by their fellow students and the academy staff.  

The recruits began their academy training March 16.
