Young Professionals Network – Atlas Cider

August 11, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Young Professionals Network is a conduit for young emerging professionals, ages 21-40, to access unique and valuable experiences. We’re engaging, educating and empowering young professionals to become the future leaders of business in the region.

In a short three years, family-owned ATLAS Cider Co. has become Oregon’s #1 selling craft cider. Made in Bend and fermented from 100% fresh pressed fruit from Oregon and Washington, the cider has no artificial flavors or coloring and is backsweetened with zero sugar. Each of the six gluten-free flavors are unique and have just the right balance of tartness, dryness, and sweetness. Year-round cider flavors include: Apple, Pom-Cherry, Apricot, and Blackberry. Seasonal Reserve ciders are Cinnamon Pear, Radler, and new for Summer 2016, the wildly popular Dragonfruit.

ATLAS Cider Co is passionate about the Central Oregon lifestyle and community, which is embodied in each bottle or pint. Owners Dan and Sam McCoy are former public school educators who choose to settle in Bend to raise their 3 children. They are delighted with the support of cider fans and the Central Oregon community who have helped them grow. ATLAS Cider can now be found throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and in regions of Nevada, North Dakota, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

In June 2015, a new larger Tasting Room was opened at the Box Factory on Industrial Way in the Old Mill District. Visitors can not only sample ATLAS Ciders, but other local craft beers and ciders from around the World are available. Tasting Room activities also include a vintage-style arcade and live music on Friday nights. The perfect balance of elegance and fun, the ATLAS Cider Co. Tasting Room is best described by Cidermaker Dan McCoy as “a winery with a mohawk”.

Hors d’oeuvres will be from the ATLAS Cider Co. food truck lot. Door Prizes will include gift certificate and ATLAS gear.
