Partake in Second Sunday – listen to poetry from Deborah Akers and Darlene Pagán beginning at 2 p.m. in the Brooks Room at the Downtown Bend Public Library.

There will also be an open mic session.

Pagán is the author of two collections of poetry. Her poems and essays have appeared in widely. She has earned national awards and nomination for Pushcart Prizes and Best of the Net. She teaches writing and literature at Pacific University.

Akers is the author of two poetry collections. Her poems have appeared in journals including The Beloit Poetry Review, Chicago Review, Yellow Silk and Writers Almanac.
