Tom Hanks Photobombs Couple's Wedding

ABC/Ida Mae Astute(NEW YORK) — Tom Hanks made one couple’s wedding day especially memorable after he crashed their photo shoot in Central Park this weekend.

The bride and groom, Elizabeth and Ryan, were accompanied by New York City-based photographer Meg Miller Saturday when Hanks approached them in the park and posed for pictures.

“Can we get a photo with you?” the stunned bride asked, as Hanks kissed her hand. “By all means,” he said graciously.

“Ryan, you’re a lucky man, Elizabeth: you’ve done well for yourself,” the multiple Academy Award-winner said, noting he’s also an ordained minister, “If the guy cancels, let me know.”

Hanks, who is very active on social media, insisted on taking a selfie for himself — and with the little ring bearer and flower girl. He later posted, “Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.”

“The wedding’s over, guys,” one guest laughed.

“We just peaked,” the very blushing bride agreed.

“We were photographing the bride and groom in Central Park and a guy on a jog started to slow down near the couple, he leaned in close as he took off his hat and sunglasses and said, ‘Hi, I am Tom Hanks’ while reaching out to shake the grooms [sic] hand,” photographer Miller wrote in an email to ABC News.

ABC News reached out to Elizabeth and Ryan, but the couple is currently on their honeymoon.

Hanks made headlines last year when he found a Fordham University student’s ID while on another jaunt in Central Park, and managed to use Twitter to find the young woman and get her card back to her.
