Local Non Profit Family Access Network Receives Generous Community Impact Grant From New York Life

Bend, Ore. ─ The Family Access Network (FAN) announced they received a $12,500 Community Impact Grant from New York Life in support of their FAN advocate services in local schools, which will enable advocates to connect children in need to basic services while keeping them healthy and in school.

The Community Impact Grant program awards grants of up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations which are championed by New York Life agents and employees to serve the needs of their local communities.

More than 340 grants totaling nearly $4 million have been awarded to nonprofits across the country since the program’s inception in 2008.

“My personal experience as the spouse of an educator has led me to serve on the Board of Directors for FAN and I’m delighted that New York Life also understands this model for connecting students and families to ‘basic needs’ services so these kids can stay in school, learn, and thrive,” said FAN Board Member Rob Fincham.
