The Notables with Betty Berger will play music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and other old swing favorites at a concert and dance at the Unitarian Church on Friday, May 12. Doors will open at 6:30 and the music starts at 7:00. Admission if free but a donation to the Bethlehem Inn is requested. Foods carts and wine and beer will be available at this event open to all ages. The Unitarian Church is located at 61980 Skyline Rance Road in Bend.

The Bethlehem Inn is a community-supported emergency shelter that provides a warm, safe place to sleep, nourishing meals, and case management services for adults and children experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon. The Inn is currently conducting a capital campaign for the construction of a new facility that will make them a better community resource for generations to come. The time for building is now, as current facility conditions are quickly deteriorating and holding back the Inn’s potential to serve.
