The Central Oregon Volleyball Officials Association (COVOA) is accepting applications for the position of commissioner. This leadership role oversees the coordination, communication and administration of the high school volley ball officials and contests throughout Central Oregon.
Overview:
The COVOA Commissioner oversees scheduling, communication, and administration duties for high school volleyball officials and contests throughout Central Oregon.
Key Duties:
Coordinate and assign officials for regular and post season matches
Maintain match schedules and databases
Observe and evaluate officials to support development and appropriate assignment levels
Communicate with Athletic Directors, officials, OSAA, and OAOA
Attend meetings and submit required documentation
Support recruitment and rule feedback efforts
Preferred Skills:
Strong organization and communication
Ability to manage schedules and deadlines
Interest or background in athletics/officiating (preferred, not required)
Compensation:
Seasonal stipend paid at the conclusion of each season
