Redmond Chamber to host annual Business Hop business showcase
Local businesses will have the opportunity to showcase products and services at the Redmond Chamber’s annual Business Hop networking event on Friday, Dec. 5, 8 to 10 a.m. at Juniper Golf Course/The View Restaurant in Redmond. The event is free to attend and open to the public, with food and refreshments provided.
Like a mini business expo event, the Business Hop provides a platform for participating Redmond Chamber of Commerce members to showcase their brands and provide attendees with more in-depth information about the products and/or services they provide. More than 20 local businesses annually participate as Business Hop exhibitors.
According to Karen Sande, events director at the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB, the concept for Business Hop grew from the popularity of the chamber’s weekly Coffee Clatter events, which are held at various locations each Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
“Our Coffee Clatters typically draw 100-plus people each Friday, and they’re typically booked out a year in advance,” Sande said. “Due to this overwhelming popularity and response, we organized the annual Business Hop as a way to allow several businesses an opportunity to showcase themselves, and generate valuable business contacts, within a fun and festive atmosphere.”
The Redmond Chamber is currently accepting exhibitor applications from its members. While the event is free to attend, the cost to exhibit is $60 for tabletop space. The application deadline is set for Wed., Nov. 26.
