Welcome to Whoville, where the holiday evening sparkles with the colorful lights of the season and the citizens celebrate Christmas by marching down Sixth Street during Redmond’s annual Starlight Parade! Experience the holiday scene in downtown Redmond on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m. Come early to pick your ideal viewing spot along Sixth Street from Dogwood to Forest avenues, bring some hot chocolate and start (or continue) a family Christmas tradition.

This year, Starlight Parade participaticant’s are encourage to design and decorate their entry floats based on the “Whoville” theme — the mythical village of Dr. Seuss fame whose citizen’s Christmas spirit broke through the Grinch’s mean, prickly exterior. Come marvel at the creativity of area citizens, organizations and businesses, and be sure to bring a bag; here in Redmond, we encourage our parade entries throw candy!
