November 10th is Robert Shotwell Day in La Pine.  Shotwell was one of few survivors of a unit on D Day.  Come support him as he’ll be presented with sand from Omaha Beach, Normandy.  The celebration starts at 10am at La Pine High School.  Speakers will include Deschutes Co. Commissioner Tony DeBone, and House Leader Mike McLane.
