Wreaths Across America is celebrated in more than 1,600 locations across the nation and the world mid-December at exactly the same time. Locally Wreaths Across America is presented by the Bend Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, and American Legion Stevens-Chutes Post 4 and Auxiliary. Both of these organizations are non-profit. The ceremony is indoors and afterward all those in attendance will proceed outside to lay wreaths on the graves of veterans. The community is asked to sponsor wreaths for placement on graves of local veterans.
