REDMOND, OR — The Redmond Police Department is warning motorists to watch for speed limit changes along Highway 97. The posted speed limit between Antler Ave. and SW Wickiup Ave. is now 40 mph. In addition, there is a new 50 mph speed zone, acting as a buffer, between Yew Ave. and Wickiup Ave. to the south, and between Hemlock Ave. and Antler Ave. to the north.
In addition to the new signs, orange flags will be in place to grab the eye of passing motorists.
