Hit And Run Driver Sought From Redmond Skate Park

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 2:54 p.m. Redmond Police Department (RPD) officers responded to a hit and run vehicle collision in the parking area of the Redmond Skate Park.  According to witnesses, the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee, shown above, collided with a black 2003 Chevrolet Silverado occupied by two juveniles.  The Jeep Grand Cherokee sustained damage to the rear bumper, then left the scene without exchanging information.  No injuries were reported.

The driver of the above vehicle was described as a Caucasian male in his 30’s, medium build, shaved hair and was wearing a black tank top.  RPD is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the vehicle and driver involved in this hit and run vehicle collision. If you witnessed or have information about this incident, please contact RPD through non-emergency dispatch, 541-693-6911.

Oregon’s Wolf Population Increases

Oregon’s wolf population continues to grow and spread into new areas, according to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s latest report but more wolves mean additional threats to livestock and more wolf killings. The report documents at least
